First of all,Vijay was not acting in ads.On that time,coke and pepsi compaines are starting business in india and it had some ecos.It gave different some ads which are product interact the people.so it was chossing actors and actress.In tamil nadu, coke companies choosed vijay because they know "vijay is leading hero in tamil". In the Ads,vijay was acting with karina kaif.we know,vijay songs are hit and popular.that ads songs are famous and hit. Vijay’s ad for Coke which was made by Rajiv Menon went on to win the best ad of the year award. The jingle was also catchy enough to remain in the lips of every tv addict. Here is that ad, it doesn’t seem to make any sense now but 5 years back I remember not changing the tv channel just to watch this ad. And check out Vijay’s shirt, every third guy in the street could be seen wearing it after watching this ad.
